ASI Bridges to Health Bay Area 2014

ASI Pacific Union Chapter in co-ordination with the Pacific Union Head Quarters of the Seventh-day Adventist church, Northern Califorina Conference of Seventh-day Adventist, Central California Conference of Seventh-day Adventist conducted a three day “Bridges to Health” initiative. Serving close to three thousand residence of the San Francisco and Oakland Bay Area with an array of high end health services. Over four million dollars in health care value was given to the residence ranging from full dental, complete vision, personalized medical evaluation, advanced medical testing and minor surgery. Free meals, medical massage, physical therapy and personalized counseling was offered to each participant. More than five hundred volunteers administrated the care. Each doctors paused their local practices to focus time and professional skills in service to others. College students gave of their time and retires supported the bus sling activity of each day. The convergence of skills and support proved to be a synergy of positive giving and practical care.
